چکیده
Background: this retrospective study aimed to analyze the results of combination Haigis formula and total keratometry (TK) in calculating IOL power eyes with previous corneal refractive surgery. Methods: TK value provided by Master 700 (Carl Zeiss Meditec) was introduced into formula; mean prediction error (PE), absolute (MAE), median (MedAE) percentage a PE within ±0.25 D, ±0.5 ±0.75 D ±1.00 were calculated. Results: ninety-three 93 patients laser surgery evaluated. Two groups defined: Myopic Group included 51 previously myopic Hyperopic 42 hyperopic eyes. The +0.09 ± 0.44 76.47% had ±0.50 D. In Group, −0.15 0.46 66.67% Discussion: when compared published other formulas or methods, combined very accurate outcomes for calculation prior such are similar better than those reported studies.

PURPOSE To use optical coherence tomography (OCT) to measure corneal power and calculate intraocular lens (IOL) power in cataract surgeries after myopic and hyperopic laser vision correction (LVC). METHODS Patients with previous LVC were enrolled in this prospective study at two centers (Doheny Eye Institute, Los Angeles, CA, USA and Cullen Eye Institute, Houston, TX, USA). Corneal power was ...

PURPOSE To analyze the refractive and keratometric stability in hyperopic astigmatic laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) or photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) during the first 6 months after surgery. PATIENTS AND METHODS This retrospective cross-sectional study included 97 hyperopic eyes; 55 were treated with LASIK and 42 with PRK. Excimer ablation for all eyes was performed using the ALLEGRE...

PURPOSE To evaluate the accuracy of the optical coherence tomography-based (OCT formula) and Barrett True K (True K) intraocular lens (IOL) calculation formulas in eyes with previous radial keratotomy (RK). METHODS In 95 eyes of 65 patients, using the actual refraction following cataract surgery as target refraction, the predicted IOL power for each method was calculated. The IOL prediction e...
